Hi, I’m Joy, a self-taught landscape photographer based in the heart of the Lake District, UK. My love for photography began in childhood, but it wasn’t until 2019 that I fully embraced it as a way to connect with the breathtaking world around me.

The Lake District is both my home and my greatest muse. Whether I'm capturing the tranquil waters of Ullswater, the atmospheric beauty of Derwentwater, or the ever-changing moods of the surrounding fells, I strive to create images that reflect the raw emotion and serenity of these incredible landscapes.

For me, photography is more than just documenting a scene; it’s about capturing the delicate interplay of light and shadow, the atmosphere of a fleeting moment, and the true essence of the landscape. From the soft glow of sunrise to the magic of long-exposure shots, my goal is to bring the peace and beauty of the outdoors into your home.

Beyond the Lake District, my passion for exploration takes me to Scotland and the Highlands, where I find endless inspiration in nature's grandeur. I believe that some of the most stunning images can be found just around the corner if we take the time to truly see them.

In addition to my personal work, I am also the founder of Women Photographers UK, a growing community dedicated to supporting and empowering female photographers across the country. Through this platform, I aim to create a space where women can connect, share their work, and inspire one another.

With my trusty Kase filters always in my bag and my two miniature dachshunds as loyal companions, I find inspiration in every adventure and every landscape I encounter.
